This is an excellent quality yarn-dyed vertical stripe cotton shirting (.875" horizontal repeat) in a cherry red, softened by a white weft (like oxford cloth), and a solid white stripe. It is a classic shirting weight, opaque with a tight weave and a cottony-crisp drape, making it perfect for shirting, a shirt dress, tunic, etc. It is stable in both directions, so you may orient your stripes either way. If you wish to hand or machine wash, please test first. Hang to dry.
